many changes took and will took place in telecentre.org foundation
1- telecentre.org Launched  and Turnover from Canada and receives warm welcome in the Philippines on 3rd  march 2010

2-  on the 5th of April 2011 in Chile and during board of trustees meeting in Santiago the Grandfather of Telecentre movement, dr. Richard Fuchs, the Chair of the Board of Trustees, stepped down. He is now the vice chair of the Board of  of Trustees.

3- dr.  Akhtar Badshah, Senior Director of Global Community Affairs for Microsoft Corporation USA, was elected in Chile (5th April 2011) as the new Chairman of the Board of  of Trustees of telecentre.org Foundation

4- During the same board meeting in Santiago, six new BOT members were also appointed, namely, Mr. Jose Avando Sales (representing Latin America and the Caribbean Network), Mr. Sherif El Tokali (representing the Middle East and North African Region), Mr. Reshan Dewapura (of the Asia Pacific Telecentre Network), Ms. Rita Mjumbi (representing NetAfrica), Ms. Gabriela Barna (of Telecentre-Europe), and Ms. Rebecca Masisak (of TechSoup Global). All six were members of the International Advisory Council.  

5- on the 3rd international global Telecentre forum, in Chile it is announced that dr. shaddy will step down as executive director of telecentre.org foundation.  He get the award for the best steering of the foundation through exemplary commitment and dedication for years to the movement. To me this is the big changed and for sure we will miss you
